About The Ukrainian School of Dance

Located in the west end of Toronto, The Ukrainian School of Dance is comprised of students ranging in age from three to adult.  The school teaches the fundamentals of Ukrainian Dance, guides students through basic skills and gradually develops these skills and technical abilities.

The school’s founders and Artistic Directors, Aleksandra and Valeri Movtchan, are qualified instructors with extensive experience in dance and choreography.  Having received instruction and professional accreditation in Ukraine, they maintain a unique and authentic personality within their roles accentuated by vitality and character.

Passion makes this dance school unique – a passion for Ukrainian culture, rituals and traditions, a passion for dance and, above all, a passion for the human spirit!
